Abstract: This training guide provides basic information for working safely with chemicals and operations in Visual Arts. The guide is intended to supplement, but not replace, the safety orientation for faculty and students in Visual Arts. Included are chapters on photography, ceramics, lithography and relief printing, sculpture as well as hazard communication, protective equipment, MSDS info, compressed gas, flammable liquids, electrical safety, waste disposal and references. Some information has been developed specifically for Princeton University, but those details can be rewritten for local needs.
